The first composition, 'Bairan Jaa Ri Jaa Koyaliya' is Satyasheelji's Javaab (answer, reaction) to the traditional Khayal 'Jaa Jaa Re' (the bandish in the first track). The musical structure of Jaa Jaa Re inspired Satyasheelji to compose this bandish. The melodic phrase that comes at the end of both the Sthai and the Antara of 'Jaa Jaa Re', is used beautifully in a different context in 'Bairan Jaa Ri Jaa Koyaliya'.
The Tarana is a traditional composition.
