This bada khayal in multani (man ki man hi mahi rahi) is Satyasheelji's own composition, the words of which echo the mood of the raga.
"When he spoke his mind, what I had to say stayed inside me. The wound of knowledge was severe. It was fitting and I bore it's burden ('बहुत सही' means both these things), but I said very little." One feels after this rendition that a lot was left unsaid.
