For our finale, our nayika now talks about her lover’s eyes in a whole other way. The depth and the vociferousness of his eyes find their way into the mood of this thumri. Another highlight of this thumri is its theka. This traditional variant of the teen-taal is called oonth-ki-chaal (the camel’s gait). Our story ends with this spellbinding description of the many things our nayak’s eyes – like our subject, the thumri - can say.
